For your day in the Waipara Valley wine region we have chosen four high quality award winning wineries that enable the tasting of more than twenty different selected premium wine types, with informative discussions during your time at the wineries about the regions wines and their manufacturing process.

The Waipara Valleys micro-climate conditions and its well drained soil facilitate the growing of a variety of grapes for many wine types of the Waipara region, that include Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.

For your convenience and later enjoyment, cellar door sales are available at each of the wineries we visit.

Our wine tasting tour is a private no rush experience, that includes a relaxing time spent over a platter lunch during one of our winery visits, with additional time to take in the views of the surrounding hills along with the well maintained garden areas present at some of the wineries. 

Should one so desire, the day may conclude with a visit to a nearby craft beer brewing company where one may partake in a cold New Zealand beer, or alternatively a coffee. The 'beer' is often a refreshing stop popular with male members, after a day of wine tasting.
